PiedPiper

The Pied Piper is a villain who possesses a malevolent flute that grants him the ability to not only control others but also consume their life-essences, effective trapping them within his cape for use as demonic "puppets".

Despite sharing his name with the fairy tale villain he is not the same entity and has links to the infernal world, since his flute is powered by the primordial energies of a long-dead Elder Demon whose final act before destruction was to create a means for its evil to continue to survive, an act that did not go in vain as the Pied Piper has taken to the flute with manic glee and seeks nothing short of complete domination over time and space.

Powers[]

  • Devil's Flute (allows him to mind-shackle those that hear its mystical tunes, it can also capture the astral-forms of victims and bind them to the Pied Piper's cloak, turning them into demonic puppets and leaving their physical bodies in a state akin to a coma. The flute can revive itself after destruction and find its way back to its owner, instantly disappearing from any that try to steal it)

Weaknesses[]

  • Divine Magic (due to his powers deriving from infernal energies the magic of angels, deities and other "divine" beings cause considerable trouble for him)
  • Psychic / Mystic Resistance (beings that possess immense levels of empathic, psychic or similar resistance / skill can prove immune to his power, as can mystics of considerable might or beings naturally immune to magic)
  • Megalomania (Pied Piper suffers from an incurable sense of superiority over others and can thus underestimate opponents or needlessly betray allies, he may even endanger his own success so as to provide a sense of "challenge" for himself or to toy with opponents he views (often incorrectly) as "weak")
