Jafar (Character What)

Jafar is one of the secondary villains in the Character What franchise, He is one of Shadow Aaron's right-hand villains. Jafar was the main antagonist in Wait Disney's original animated 1992 film Aladdin, Jafar is the archenemy of Aladdin as well as Pikachu.

Personality[]

Jafar is forever loyal to Shadow Aaron, aiding the him into his plans to destroy Shadow Joe and conquering the multiverse at his will, always following his orders without question. Unlike most villains of the franchise, Jafar's loyally to Shadow Aaron is not out of fear.

After Shadow Aaron's death in Shadow Aaron's Fate, Jafar remain loyal to the "Master of All Evil" and watch over his intergalactic empire with full responsibility. In New Adventures, Jafar continue carrying out Shadow Aaron's plans to destroy Shadow Joe, while attempting to avenge Shadow Aaron's demise by sending out various villains to destroy Yojojo for responsible for the latter's death. Jafar even carry out Shadow Aaron's authority by abusing the villains for their failures into destroying Yojojo.

Jafar was regardless of Shadow Aaron's true plan to destroy the entire multiverse and create it in his image, and the fact that Shadow Aaron will destroy him along with the other villains once they help him achieve his goal.

Character What: The Movie[]

Jafar makes his first appearance in the first ever full-length animated feature, serving as one of the secondarily antagonists. He first appears along with General Grievous waiting patiently for Maleficent return with Shadow Aaron, but Grievous and Jafar's pet parrot Iago and was very impatiently with her return, which Jafar tells him to be patient. When Maleficent returns with Shadow Aaron still imprison in a hardened shell, Jafar questions Maleficent how are they going to released Shadow Aaron from his prison since a Shadow Creature's magic is far more greater than her magic to free Shadow Aaron. Maleficent explains that the planets are almost align that will undo the spell and awaken Shadow Aaron from his solitude. When Shadow Aaron's shell breaks and released him from his long-term slumber, Jafar along with his comrades immedicably bow to him, but Iago angerly rebukes Shadow Aaron for his funny-looking appearance, and didn't believes it was actually him. After Shadow Aaron shoots lightning at Iago as punishment for insulting him for his appearance, Jafar apologies to him for Iago's rudeness, but Shadow Aaron could care less about it. Jafar was the first to question Shadow Aaron's first order of business, Shadow Aaron revealed the first part of his plan involves destroying his entire species the Shadow Creatures. Jafar also questions how Shadow Aaron going to destroy the Shadow Creatures since they are immortal as he is, which Shadow Aaron notes that Shadow Creatures can be permanently killed if exposed to black Shadow Creature crystals. But Jafar is still leave in question how Shadow Aaron could use one of those crystals to killed his whole race without being exposed the black crystals' deadly radiation, though Grievous revealed that Maleficent had recover one of the crystals, and the latter place it in a container to prevent Shadow Aaron from being expose to the radiation. Before Jafar could questioned him again, Shadow Aaron explains that he is going to build a giant death-ray gun powered by the black crystal to eliminate his entire species with no survivors. After Shadow Aaron successfully destroyed the Shadow Creatures (except Shadow Joe and his family) with his giant ray gun, Jafar was impressed with Shadow Aaron's villainy.

Character What: The Adventures[]

In My Little Pony, Shadow Aaron put Jafar in charge of the empire while he was helping Nightmare Moon.

In Aladdin, Jafar is the main antagonist of the episode and reprises his role from the film of the same name. Much like in the film, Jafar is the Royal Vizier of Agrabah's Sultan who plans to overthrown the Sultan and rule over Argabah, and hired a underworld thief named Gazeem to search for the second half of a Golden Scarab Beetle, as Jafar already obtain the first half of the Golden Scarab Beetle that can lead him to the Cave of Wonders once the Golden Scarab Beetle is joined with the second half. Jafar is first seen sitting on his horse out at night out in the middle of Arabian desert with Shadow Aaron, waiting impatiently for Gazeem's return with the second half of Golden Scarab Beetle as promised. Gazeem eventually arrives and apologies to Jafar for his being late, and explains that he needed to slit a few throats in order to obtain the second half of the Golden Scarab Beetle, but Gazeem requested payment as promised before handing over the second half to Jafar. However, Iago snatches the scarab out of Gazeem's hands and Jafar joined both halves to together. Once joined, the Golden Scarab Beetle lead them the location and summons the Cave of Wonders from the desert sands. Jafar orders Gazeem to go into the cave to retrieve the lamp while promising the thief that the other treasures will be his as payment. However, the cave's guardian warms Gazeem that only those who are worthy may enter the cave: a "Diamond in the Rough", but Jafar was unconcerned of the warming and demands Gazeem to still continue entering the cave. Once in the cave, the guardian suddenly roars and clamps its mouth shut on him, resulting the death of Gazeem in the process. Despite their shock of his death (except for Shadow Aaron who delighted to see the demise of the unworthy thief), Jafar couldn't care less about the lose of his minion, proclaiming that Gazeem was "obviously less then worthy", finally realizing that he must find the one who is the "Diamond in the Rough" in order to retrieve the lamp from the cave. Jafar returns to Agrabah, where the Sultan tell him about Jasmine refuses to marry a prince, and introduced Shadow Joe and Twilight Sparkle to him. Though Shadow Joe was fully aware of Jafar's true nature but doesn't warm the Sultan about his true intentions as he knowns that the latter wasn't believes him if he yet. After departing, Iago voices his frustration with the Sultan' authority, but Jafar makes it clear that he will soon overthrown the Sultan and had power over Agrabah. In his secret laboratory, Shadow Aaron revealed to him and identified the diamond in the rough to be Aladdin who is the individual necessary to enter the Cave of Wonders. Upon learning this, Jafar order Razoul and some royal guards to arrest Aladdin as a subtle means of recruiting him, although he didn't expect that Jasmine would accompanied the street rat (she had escaped from the palace to avoid meeting another prince proposing to marry to her). When Aladdin was caught, Jasmine tries to defend him from guards, but Razoul tell her that his orders came form Jafar and must be taken up with him. Later at night, Jasmine confronts Jafar for arresting Aladdin, he claims that Aladdin was criminal who kidnapped her. Jasmine corrects Jafar that she run away, so he lies to her that Aladdin is already executed for a crime he didn't commit. Jasmine became horrify by this revelation and angerly call Jafar for mis mistake before. With Jasmine out of the way of plans, Jafar sneaks into the dungeons and disguised himself as a old prisoner, when he offers to help Aladdin escape in exchange for aiding him in retrieving the lame from the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin accept his deal, as they made their way to the cave's entrance. After Aladdin was accepted as the Diamond in the Rough" by the guardian, Jafar promises Aladdin his reward once he retrieves the lamp. Inside the cave, Aladdin's pet monkey Abu trippers the cave's downfall. Aladdin races to exist on a Magic Carpet, where he finds himself dangling his life, he begs Jafar to help him get out of there, but Jafar requests to hand over the Lamp first, which he does so. Jafar finally has the lamp, Jafar attempts to give Aladdin his "reward (the eternal reward of death), but Abu bites his wrist. Aladdin and Abu fell into collapsing cave as it dissolves into the sand and seemingly die with it. As Jafar boasts about his victory, he finds that the lamp is not in his coat, and screams out of frustration over the loss of the lamp. Unbeknownst to him, Abu actually stole the lamp, and gives to Aladdin. After teaming up with the Genie from the lamp, who help them escape from the collapsed cave and return to Agrabah safety.

Character What: Tales[]

Jafar returns in Shadow Aaron's Revenge: Part 1, Jafar was in a meeting with Shadow Aaron along with Maleficent, General Grievous, Giovanni, Queen Chrysalis, Emperor Palpatine, Davros, and Chase Young.

In Shadow Aaron's Revenge: Part 2, After Shadow Joe and his friends escape, Shadow Aaron left Jafar incharge of the empire again. After Shadow Aaron's defeat by Twilight Sparkle, Jafar had to take Shadow Aaron's place and watch over the Shadow Aaron's empire.

Character What: Hero Force[]

In The Hero Returns, Jafar came in Shadow Aaron's throne to inform him about that Bubble Helmet, Liam, and Fistina were defeated by Shadow Joe, but Shadow Aaron say he already know and orders Jafar to leave the room. At the end, Jafar came in Shadow Aaron's throne once again to inform him about Shadow Joe had successfully saved J. Jonah Jameson from the bounty hunters he send to destroy Jameson.

In Sunset Shimmer's Betray, Jafar attempts to convince Sunset Shimmer to not give up of being evil.

In The Return of the Dazzlings, Jafar brought the Dazzlings to Shadow Aaron to send them to destroy Shadow Joe.

In Men Club, Jafar was one of the few male villains in Shadow Aaron's men club.

Character What: Chronicles[]

In Power of the Ring, Jafar explores a unidentified cave in search for a mystic object that could help him takeover Agrabah and get revenge on Aladdin. Jafar finds a golden ring with a red jewel located on a stature, which had the power to control the minds of others. Jafar return to Agrabah and used the ring to make the royal guards stand down and let him pass, Jafar entered the Sultan's palace and into the throne room. The Sultan was outraged for Jafar's return and demands him to leave immediately. However, Jafar then uses the ring to hypnotized the Sultan along with Iage, Abu, Jasmine, Genie, Rajah, Dawn, Twilight Sparkle and Bambi to aid him against their will. Jafar realized that Shadow Joe and Aladdin were not in the palace and decided to wait for their return, while forcing his brainwash minions into slavery to make most of his time. Later when Shadow Joe and Aladdin return to Agrabah, they were shocked to see Jafar sitting in the Sultan's throne, while wondering for the reasons of Jafar's return. Jafar orders his new hypnotized slaves to attacks Aladdin and Shadow Joe, but Shadow Joe and Aladdin knows that they can't hurt their friends being under Jafar's under control. Shadow Joe manages to subdue Jafar's brainwash minions by sealing them in magic bubbles. Jafar was more frustrated of another of his plans being close to ruins, so Jafar used the ring on Shadow Joe to make him destroy Aladdin. Unfortunately, Jafar's magic ring was imperious to Shadow Joe, due to the latter being unable to be hypnotized. Shadow Joe telekinetically takes the ring away from Jafar and crush it into pieces with his bare hand, thus freeing everyone who was under the ring's influence. Shadow Joe decides to give Jafar a taste of his own medicine by hypnotized him with his hypnotic vision, making Jafar act like a chicken, a monkey, and a rabbit, much to everyone's laughter.

Character What: New Adventures[]

Jafar serves as the main antagonist of the 7th series, it is revealed that he has taken over position as ruler of Shadow Aaron's empire following the latter's demise during events of The End of Shadow Aaron, and continues carrying out his Shadow Aaron's plans of multiverse domination and to destroy Shadow Joe, as well as seeking vengeance on the one responsible for Shadow Aaron's death, with Queen Chrysalis on his side.

In Say Goodbye to Old Friends, and Say Hello to New Friends: Part 1. Jafar announces to everyone in the empire spaceship that they must continue to destroy Shadow Joe so he would not stand in their way of taking over the multiverse, but the villains refuse to do anything for Jafar since he is not Shadow Aaron and therefore not to be considered a major threat, prompting Jafar to transform into his genie form to remind them that he is still a genie and can still could harmed toward his followers with his magic, despite not being able to kill them since genies are incapable of inflicting death. Scar was the only one to complain about Jafar in the position as the new ruler, prompting Jafar to use his magic to punish the lion by levitating him out of the floor and sending him flying across the room, much to the villains' shock. Later, Jafar lead a group of villains to attack Shadow Joe, who was with his new friend, Iris (from Pokemon), who befriend shortly with after Dawn's department. Jafar and followers chase Shadow Joe and Iris through a cave that leaves to a cliff there a canyon. Having the two cornered, Jafar order his following villains to attack them, but Shadow Joe and Iris managed to take down the villains with their newfound teamwork. Jafar wield his snake staff and prepares to fight Shadow Joe and Iris, but one of the villains Shan-Yu, regain consciousness and charges toward Shadow Joe, causing him to accidentally knock Shan-Yu into a wooden dam, which breaks and releases a flood that washes away the villains, including Jafar. However, Jafar and his comrades survived, and declares that he will not rest until Shadow Joe is vanquished once and for all.

Character What: The Last Stand[]

In Villains Turn Evil, Jafar along with Maleficent, General Grievous, Davros, Sunset Shimmer and Zebra Brothers were the only villains remaining in Shadow Aaron's empire, he was shocked to see Shadow Aaron alive after believing he was destroyed from the last encounter with Shadow Joe and the Mane Six. Jafar inform Shadow Aaron that the rest of the villains were imprison, killed, banished, reformed or departed during his absent.

Character What: The Return of the Shadow Creature[]

In the series final of franchise, Shadow Aaron announced Jafar along Maleficent, General Grievous and Davros to move to the Mustafar system for the time being, while Jafar was left in question for the reasons of going the volcanic planet as a safe place, but Shadow Aaron refuses to answer and demanded them to leave his presence at once. After Jafar along the rest of the remaining villains (except Sunset Shimmer) were absent. Shadow Aaron decides to recreate his empire by using his infinite powers to creating replications of every villain in the series, even create replications of Jafar, Maleficent, General Grievous and Davros. Shadow Aaron considered that Jafar and the rest of the villains had perceive their purposes and their needs are no longer required. Shadow Aaron travels to the Mustafar system and arrive on the planet, Shadow Aaron first encountered with Davros and killed him insanity. Jafar and the others were shocked by this from the recordings, now realizing that Shadow Aaron has used them as puppets and never sure had trusted him in the place. After Maleficent and Grievous was killed by Shadow Aaron trying to stop him, Jafar attempts to avenge their deaths and using his genie powers to defeat Shadow Aaron, but the latter took away his sorcery and genie powers, regarding powerless. Shadow Aaron then turns Jafar into stone before setting the entire station to self-destruct, and Jafar was destroyed in the explosion.
