Grandmaster: I have analyzed for many years the situation in which your father dies! That ruined my life! But then, I found the true meaning of life! I am the most powerful being in the universe! And the only thing I need to obtain for that will be, the ruby of life and death!!
~ The Grandmaster tells Hulk and Mariko Yashida about his ultimate realization
Oh young lady. You have lost. Because you will always be mine.
~ Grandmaster lusting Mariko's powers

The Grandmaster, also known by his alter ego Noburo Mori, is a major antagonist of the Marvel Fanfilm Universe. He appears as the main antagonist of the 2017 fanfilm/presentation, Hulk X. He returns as a supporting antagonist in the 2019 installment Avengers: In The Darkest Hours and as a major antagonist of Spiderman: Rise of The Darkness. He also appears in the Marvel/DC fanfilm crossover Day of The Hero as a supporting antagonist and in it's sequel The Fantastic Knights as a minor antagonist during the film's opening. He is a mutant like demi-god who works as the Prime Minister of Japan.

He is portrayed by Jason Stateham, who also played Vanny from the Five Nights at Freddy's fanfilm.

Information[]

He is the Prime Minister of Japan who goes on a diplomatic mission; to fight terror together with the American president, Michael J. Bush. As part of his program to save the world, he mutates Bruce Banner genetically, and turns him into The Hulk. However, in secret, he was a supervillain called Grandmaster. Therefore, he was corrupting many people's souls and turning them into U-Men.

History[]

Pacific War[]

During the Pacific War between America and Japan, Grandmaster was born to his father Mephisto. Mephisto and his son Grandmaster have tried to obtain the ruby of life and death so they could destroy the universe, and they were involved in The Pacific War as they have covered Japan with darkness and have corrupted it's people, of which some have transformed into U-Men. Eventually, Mephisto lost the war and he told The Grandmaster to fix his mistakes and bring the world to order instead of avenging his father's demise. After Damian Braddock has killed Mephisto, Grandmaster made things worse for Japan. Thereafter, Damian also fought Grandmaster and seemingly killed him, despite dying himself on the same day, as a result of using all his energy to cover the universe with light.

Dealing with President Bush[]

After the war, Grandmaster (in his human disguise as Noburo Mori) has killed IchIrō Yashida and adopted his two children, Shingen and Mariko. He eventually discovered that his daughter Mariko has obtained the powers of the ruby by devouring it, and he intended to kill her. She escaped and flew on plane to the US, where she could be safe. Noburo Mori later organized a diplomatic mission in America, where he will negociate with President Bush. Noburo and Shingen were caught on the way to their plane by a group of U-Men, lead by Yoann Marko. Yoann at first pretended to try and kill them both. Noburo warns him that he has an agent to protect him. As Shingen offers Noburo to run away, Noburo reveals his true colors, and orders the thugs to shoot Shingen. On Yoann's command, one of the thugs (Yoshi) has shot Shingen to death.

After that, Noburo Mori meets with Agent Bruce Banner and with Agent Cristoph Nord. He sends them to Doctor Doom's special lab in order to turn them into weapons against the mutants.

Noburo later flies to the US on a plane, and then takes a helicopter in which he travels to New York. Noburo warns Bush that there are people who want to kill the mutants of the US. He also adds that he is looking forward to be friends with America, and negociate with them. Bush tells Noburo that he is also hoping to negociate, as he considers Noburo's offer as a yes. Noburo later visits Charles Xavier, and warns him about a massive evasion of a terrorist group called The U-Men, who want to destroy mutantkind. Charles asks how strong they are, and Noburo replies that their leader, The Grandmaster can destroy the entire universe. Xavier reveals that his grandfather Damian was killed by The Grandmaster. Noburo offers him condolences and leaves for another meeting with President Bush. Later, Noburo arranges a meeting with Commander Jay Banner, who secretly works with him and plots to destroy mutantkind. During the meeting, Noburo implies that Jay's father was strong and ruthless, but that due to his illegal operations in Stryker's base, the police would try and arrest him at all costs. Noburo then reveals Jay that he is The Grandmaster, and explains that as he had the ability to manipulate various lifeforms, he had used the people of Japan and America to fight against each other. Jay raised his suspision and asked the Grandmaster if he is also using him. The Grandmaster lies and tells Jay that he is just trying to help, and that he can ressuruct his father, and assure he lives, in condition that Jay will help him destroy mutantkind and be loyal to his scheme.

The Grandmaster's rage[]

Later, Charles Xavier arranges a meeting with Mori/Grandmaster on the street. Mori reveals Charles that he is The Grandmaster, and blames him and Damian for killing Mephisto. He explains that his father was a demon overlord who wanted to destroy the universe via using the ruby of life and death. He then mentions that he knows his adoptive daughter, Mariko Yashida, is now connected to the crystal and is in control of it's powers. Grandmaster then threatens Charles that he is going to kill him, and then capture Mariko and stab her heart, as the promised reaction would be her scream which will cover the universe with the wrath of the crystal. He then reveals his true form as The Grandmaster to Charles, and he intends to kill him. As Grandmaster begins to rage above the ground, Charles weakens him by controling his mind, and realizes through his thoughts that Mephisto has eventually wanted to end the war, and that Grandmaster was told by his father to bring peace to the world, and correct his mistakes, instead of plotting revenge. Grandmaster realizes that Charles is true, and asks him for help. He tells Charles to look into his eyes, to see that he's not lying. As Charles looks into Grandmaster's eyes, Grandmaster quickly uses his powers and shoots a laser beam at Charles. Charles dies, and Grandmaster concludes that he should be using the crystal and rising to power as part of his own goals, and not his father's. Grandmaster later enters Stryker's military base, and reveals himself to Bruce Banner/Hulk and Mariko, in his true, demonic form. Grandmaster then states that he was analyzing his father's death over and over, but that he at last came to a realization that as the most powerful creature in the universe, he should be possesing Mariko's powers and end the universe for good, as part of his own scheme. Grandmaster then grabs Mariko and starts possesing her and using the powers of the ruby. Hulk tries to fight back, but cannot touch them due to a force-field which disables any other being from touching the ruby and it's possesions. Mariko tells Hulk that the force can only be broken if Psylocke fires the weapon at her and at Grandmaster. After Hulk goes to discuss these matters with Psylocke, Grandmaster uses his blade to stab Mariko in the heart, so he could make her scream. Before he manages to stab her, Psylocke fires the weapon at Mariko and Grandmaster. The force-field breaks, and the two fall injured and weak on the ground. Mariko then casts a spell on Grandmaster, which is supposed to wipe him out of existance for good. Grandmaster tells her that she lost, and tries to kill her. However, she fights back, and pushes him, causing the weak Grandmaster to fall back on the floor. She then stabbs The Grandmaster with the blade. Thereafter, the bleeding Grandmaster dies and dissapears.

Revival[]

The Grandmaster is later revived by the combined efforts of Arnim Zola and Thanos. He became one of the lieutenant generals of The Black Order, right alongside The Red Skull and Mysterio. He arrives at the S.H.I.E.L.D base as he and Mysterio manage to capture The Iron Man and hand him over to Mordo, who then sends him to Thanos. After the demise of Thanos, Mysterio and Grandmaster go to search for the last member of The Black Order, Carnage. The alien warlord then appears and takes over Thanos' position, thus forming The Sinister Six.

He becomes the faction's second in command and plots with Carnage to revive The Gargoyle as part of a plan to cause chaos in the city and end Spiderman and S.H.I.E.L.D for good. He then goes with Baron Mordo to kill The Iron Man. They both fought Iron Man and Carnage then came and tried to finish Tony for good. However, Mordo then betrayed Carnage and redeemed himself due to the agendas of the alien being to cause chaos, rather than rule the city with an iron fist and some sense. While Carnage kills Mordo, Tony flees. Grandmaster is last seen succeeding in his plans to revive The Grey Gargoyle, as the two conspired against the city and S.H.I.E.L.D, with The Gargoyle becoming the new leader of The Six.
