~ A Dark Boo after taking away an item


Dark Boos are stronger variants of Boos found in Mission Quest. They are found in Jajunga's Tower and they are much more sneaky than the Boo. They are stronger, faster, and can not only steal Action Command Blocks (which they say the same things as a Boo upon stealing one) but they can also steal items such as coins, Gear, Badges, or defensive items such as Mushrooms, Syrups, Peppers, etc. If they take away an item, they won't steal an Action Command Block afterwards and vice versa. If they are left alone for some time after stealing an item or coins, they will proceed to flee from the battle with it. Not only will The RPG Gamer and his friends kiss some hard-earned items goodbye but they also won't get any EXP or Coins from the Dark Boo (as they didn't kill it). They have the same moves as a Boo just faster, sneakier, and stronger but they also have one additional move as well. During the tower's self destruct, several Dark Boos are seen escaping alongside other enemies.

Powers and Abilities[]

(all of it's attacks are faster than the generic Boos)

  • Swoop Attack = The Dark Boo will swoop down on it's target and attack. Before attacking, it covers it's eyes and uncovers one, if it's the right eye it's going for The RPG Gamer, Nathan, Ethan, Nathaniel, and John and if it's the left eye, Robert, Timothy, Tim, Tom, and John are the targets. If it manages to attack it's target successfully, it will steal one of their Action Command Blocks. (Jump, Hammer, Hand (which is gotten after visiting this area but still), Items, Special Attacks, Switching, and Fleeing (AKA Running). They can also steal some Coins and/or Items and can run from battle if left alone (only if they stole Coins Badges, Gear, or Items, they don't run with Action Command Blocks). This can be dodged or countered with a Jump.
  • Attack from behind = The Dark Boo will lift up an eye to indicate it's target once again before attacking and will go behind it's target and try to ram them. If done successfully, it will steal an Action Command Block, Gear, Item, Badges, or Coins. This can be dodged or countered with a Jump. Occasionally as it's about to ram it's target, the Dark Boo will stop and cover it's eyes before ramming it's target to throw off their timing.
  • Enemy Upgrade = Additionally, the Dark Boo has an extra ability that the Boo doesn't have, The Dark Boo has a small chance of fusing itself with another enemy in battle. While the Dark Boo is sacrificed upon the merge, the enemy that it was fused with has 20 of their HP restored and their POW, DEF, and SPD get increased by a ton making them a far bigger threat. It's always recommended whenever a Dark Boo appears alongside other enemies such as Chomp Bro.s, Gunner Guys, Elite Mecha-Chomps, etc. to always take out the Dark Boo.
